Man, I'm waiting for data so that I can continue my work and it's agonizing.  Anyway, work has gotten much better lately.  I no longer fully dread coming here and working my ass off only to have nothing work correctly.  Some stuff has been actually coming out right for once and I'm slowly coming out of the depression that my job had put me in.  I'm also getting to do some research and development stuff now.  It's quite awesome, although probably utterly boring to most of you.

I'm not really sure why, but this is what came up on Google when I searched the word "data".  Weird.

Steve and I went to see Coldplay the other day.  They put on such a great show.  I loved it.  It was a great Christmas/Valentine's Day present.

I hate to be sappy, but Steve is really good at romance when he puts his mind to it.  Our Valentine's Day was very nice, my vocabulary doesn't supply me with the correct words for it.

Ok, enough sappiness.  I hope everyone is doing well.

Wow, it's been quite awhile since I've xanga'd.  Work is going better now.  I still work too much, but it seems to be a little less stressful.  Steven just started school this week.  He's having a lot of fun teaching his class.  He's so good with people, I just don't get how he does it.  We have been buying different items to make our apartment more cozy.  We bought a comforter set with some of the gift card money from the reception.  It's so pretty and awesome.  It's not too feminine, but Steve said even if it was it doesn't matter as long as he gets laid.  Of course, why didn't I know that.  Well, otherwise life is going well.  It snowed here yesterday and last night.  It took me two hours to get to work yesterday and about an hour and a half to get home.  This morning it took me a good hour and a half to get to work.  Hopefully the drive home isn't too bad.  The weather here isn't that cold though.  When it's 30 outside it feels like 40 or 45.  I guess that's what having dry air does to the way the temp feels.  I know if I were in MO it would be blisteringly cold and it would stay that way for a few months.  Ok, enough rambling.

I don't know who this guy is, but man that's funny.

Things are going o.k. for me. I just had a whole week off from work and I've done practically nothing that has anything to do with work the whole time. I feel really well rested and am looking forward to going back to the hectic life I call work. One thing has happened though that makes the week off seem a bit depressing. My granddad passed away on Friday. He was 93 and had lived an awesome life. He'd done so much and helped so many people I'm sure the funeral is going to be crowded. I will miss him. My Mom is kinda spastic now trying to get all of the arrangements in order and everything, but I think she knows it was his time. She and my granddad had a really good relationship. They talked all the time and she was greatly attached to him. Well, he wasn't in pain and he died having spoken to my sisters and I. I was hoping he would be able to pull through to be able to come to my reception, but it just wasn't to be. He's probably with grandma having a good talk about what all she's missed since she left. I guess I'm kinda numb right now. I'm not upset that he's gone, I'm happy that he's not suffering or in the hospital. He did so much during his life. I only hope to accomplish a tiny percentage of his good deads.

So, it's Saturday and I'm at work.  I've worked since Monday and will continue to work until probably Friday or Saturday of next week.  My neck hurts, I think I'm getting a stiff neck.  I'm listening to some good music though.  Steve made me a mix cd of random songs I like.  It's got some Gorrillas, M.I.A., Blood, Sweat and Tears, Mars Volta, and some other stuff.  I'm alone, at work.  Hmm, at least I have the music although it gets very quite in the lab when the cd ends.  Then I have the delemma of choosing a different cd to listen to.  Ok, I'm sorry this post is crap, but I'm tired.  I'm also sorry about all of the complaining.  I'll just shut up now.  Thanks for listening.
